Stuff is happening. Honest.

I haven't posted in a while, mainly because I have been just too busy. But things have been happening, slowly. So here is a random collection of pictures with captions to justify my existence.

We broke the highfield lever for the port mizzen backstay on the last sail of the season. Somehow. All welded up and back in service.

In preparation for doing the port side cabin we have endeavored to nail down a couple of minor deck leaks, which I have never really gotten to before because it's Emma's cabin, and she has yet to learn how to complain properly.

Found the source of the main leak, the caulking at the end of this plank was completely shot.

Caulking curing. Sharon managed to step right in it.

Termite damage in the mizzen not properly
fixed in California. Epoxy flooded, then
cut out the worst affected wood.
Filling piece gluing in place.

Sanding up. Will seal, but varnish when we strip the mizzen this summer.

The furler is back together and I have fitted back in place. Woohoo - turns smoothly now. The jib is off getting some TLC at the sailmakers.

I'm off to Europe and the USA for 3 weeks shortly, so not much will be happening, but when I get back it will be full-steam-ahead as we launch into the season. Yay!!!
